11. Bangladesh Studies
The major objective of the course is to introduce the students to the history of Bangladesh, to understand present Bangladesh in the light of history and to provide them with basic knowledge of current politics and economy of the country. This course will expand students’ understanding of complex interconnection of historical events which led to the formation of Bangladesh, current trend in political and economic development thereby improving their critical thinking.
